A Forest That Reacts to You
Using multi-touch tracking, visitors triggered responsive particle effects — such as drifting butterflies, fairy dust, and fireflies — based on their gestures. Motion sensors embedded in the space detected body movement, triggering environmental responses like flowers blooming or vines stirring, giving the impression that the forest was aware of your presence.

360° Sound and Day-to-Night Transitions
I designed a custom surround soundscape to wrap the room in natural ambiance — birds, insects, wind, and subtle layers that shifted with time. Every two minutes, the entire space transitioned from a vivid daylight scene to a moonlit night version of the same forest. The audio evolved in sync, replacing day sounds with soft, nocturnal textures for a fully immersive shift in tone and atmosphere.
Outcome
Luminescent Sylva quickly became one of the most-voted and talked-about experiences in the museum, a poetic, responsive space that blurred the line between nature and imagination.
